Role Description

This full-time Accountant role at Kreston SB, Sindi Batterjee, Saudi Arabia (كريستون سندي وبترجي السعودية) is an on-site position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, preparing journal entries, and maintaining general ledger accounts. Responsibilities include assisting in month-end and year-end closing, preparing financial statements and reports, and reconciling bank accounts and other key balance sheet items. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Accountant will also help ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies, and local regulations, and may collaborate with auditors and other stakeholders to support reviews and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in general accounting, including ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and other financial documentation.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash flow tracking.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as 1Audit and MS Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team and interact with clients and auditors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field; professional certifications (e.g., SOCPA, CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Minimum 2 Years of experience in Accounting/Audit role is required.
