Role Description The Sr Civil Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam, responsible for overseeing civil works on active construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting detailed site inspections of structures, roads, and related civil works; monitoring materials and workmanship; and verifying adherence to approved drawings and method statements. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders, preparing inspection reports, documenting non-conformities, and following up on corrective actions. The Sr Civil Inspector will also support quality control procedures, review test results (including asphalt and concrete testing), and contribute to safety and risk mitigation measures on site.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in site inspections and civil inspection activities, with the ability to assess compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
• Experience in quality control processes for civil works, including material testing, documentation of non-conformities, and implementation of corrective measures.
• Practical knowledge of asphalt works, road construction, and related infrastructure elements, including surface preparation and compaction requirements.
• Proficiency in construction management, including coordination with contractors, tracking progress, and supporting schedule and cost control from an inspection perspective.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, with substantial experience in site-based inspection roles.
• Familiarity with relevant local and international codes and standards for civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills, including the ability to prepare clear inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multidisciplinary environment.
• Commitment to safety, ethical practices, and continuous improvement; previous experience in Dammam or the wider region is an advantage.
