Role Description The Infrastructure Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure systems that support the organization’s technical and engineering operations. Day-to-day tasks include managing servers and systems, monitoring performance and availability, and performing routine maintenance to ensure stability and scalability. The Infrastructure Engineer will configure and support networking components, enforce network security measures, and respond to incidents to minimize downtime. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving infrastructure-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams on project requirements, and documenting configurations and procedures for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong infrastructure and system administration skills, including experience with servers, operating systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Proficiency in networking concepts and technologies, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and TCP/IP-based communication.
- Hands-on experience with network security practices, including access control, monitoring, and security incident response.
- Advanced troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools, backup and recovery solutions, and high-availability configurations.
- Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, manage priorities in a project-driven environment, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant professional certifications (such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft/VMware certifications) are an advantage.
