Role Description The Captain Waiter is responsible for supervising and coordinating service in the restaurant or outlet, ensuring guests receive attentive, timely, and courteous service. This full-time, on-site role in the Riyadh Region involves overseeing table setups, taking and relaying orders, managing food and beverage delivery, and supporting the service team during busy periods. The role includes guiding and assisting waitstaff, resolving guest concerns, and upholding hygiene, safety, and quality standards. The Captain Waiter collaborates closely with kitchen and bar teams, monitors section performance, and helps maintain accurate billing and cash handling procedures. The position also involves training new team members on service standards and contributing to a positive, professional work culture.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests.
• Experience in food & beverage operations and food service within restaurants, hotels, or similar environments.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with guests, colleagues, and kitchen staff.
• Basic understanding of cooking processes and menu items to explain dishes and make suitable recommendations.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or lead waiter role in hospitality is preferred.
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Professional appearance, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
