• Technical support and direction for all quality activities (including reporting) performed by contractors Inspectors of the project

• Ensure Quality Management activities and reports are in compliance with Quality requirements as per engineering requirements, standards, procedures, specifications, and Schedule “Q” of the project’s Construction Contractors’ contract.

• Provide training and guidance to others as and when required.

• Support all aspects of Quality Management, including Inspection.

• Technical support to Purchasing and Project Management in resolving problems concerning inspection methods and procedures for completing WORK within the scope and intent of applicable codes and standards.

• developments in inspection standards, codes, practices, procedures, methods, and inspection equipment.

• Compliance of applicable codes and standards and in accordance with the WER quality and inspection requirements.

• Review/evaluate quality assurance/quality control systems, as necessary, and ensure Inspection Records are compiled and maintained.

• Performing root cause analysis, assessments, and recommend short and/or long-term remedies.

• knowledge of applicable US Codes, construction and maintenance procedures, and material testing and procedures.

• knowledge of quality system standards and methods (ISO 9001).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.
• Holds relevant certifications such as API, CSWIP, or ASNT, demonstrating expertise in quality control standards.
• Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or construction industries, showcasing industry knowledge.
• Exhibits proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and international codes and standards, ensuring accurate understanding.
