Duties & Responsibilities:

- Read drawings and understand fabrication process and sequence.

- Cutting & weld bevel edge preparation of steel plates, beams, and piping using cutting torches and other equipment.

- Fit-up /assembly of mast and substructure & accessories, pressure vessels and piping.

- Withdraw suitable welding consumables from stores for tack welding. Should be able to weld using SMAW and MIG welding.

- Safe handling of cutting/welding gases and tools/grinders.

- Grinding and cleaning/Dress up of the work pieces & welds

- Capable to use various measuring tools like Tapes, fabrication tools and weld gauges etc.

- Shall have experience with handling overhead cranes, forklifts etc.

- Clean workplace and safe handling of materials.

- Maintain safety regulations and obey company safety rules.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
