We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our projects team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in MEP works, with strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost control, contract administration, and commercial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs from MEP drawings and project specifications.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare cost estimates for MEP works at different project stages.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare interim payment applications and evaluate subcontractor invoices.
• Measure and verify completed MEP works.
• Evaluate Variation Orders (VOs) and their cost impact.
• Support claims preparation and contract administration.
• Monitor MEP project costs against approved budgets.
• Prepare cost reports and commercial updates.
• Coordinate with project managers, MEP engineers, procurement, and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying.
• Proven experience in building and MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, measurements, VO, IPC, and claims.
• Good understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and quantity surveying practices.
