About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Cook II to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in a culinary environment. Role Contribution

As a Cook II, you will be responsible for maintaining high culinary standards through careful preparation and attention to detail in each dish. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will gain new skills by working with seasonal menus and unique presentations. Your contributions will directly enhance the guest experience and encourage repeat visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients and cook them according to established recipes or menus.
• Cook food and prepare high-quality dishes within specified deadlines.
• Test dishes to verify proper preparation and temperature.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of all surfaces and containers used for storage.

Physical Requirements and Training

This position requires the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lb (11 kg). It also involves standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods. Maintaining a neat, professional appearance in a clean uniform is required. Prior to commencing the role, completion of training and obtaining a safety certificate will be necessary.
