Senior Sales Engineer

Job Summary

The Sales Engineer role is a critical position within our organization responsible for driving sales performance and fostering long-term customer relationships. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:

• Achieve sales profitability and collection targets for sales team in the Region.
• Increase customer base with quality customers.
• Closely interact with customers understand and identify their needs.
• Demonstrate products on site to customers and establish their suitability to customers needs.
• Identify well in advance upcoming projects.
• Fully investigate and ascertain credibility of new customers before appointment. To adhere the prescribed procedures for appointment including completion of Customer Profile form.
• Ensure satisfactory level of after sales service.
• Ensure adherence to budgeted levels of stock and receivable.
• Strive to avoid bad debts and obsolescence of materials.
• Attend promptly to customer complaints and provide satisfactory solutions.
• Clearly understand and adhere to the warranty policy of Sika.
• Closely interact with consultants and contractors.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in technical sales within the construction or chemical industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in customer relationship management and project management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data and present it effectively to diverse audiences.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials methods and industry standards.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Additional Information :

Industry and/or Country specific requirements:

• Construction chemicals experience is must.
• Should be well connected to market area.
• Willingness to work at sales field.

• English (Fluent)
• Arabic (Fluent)
