Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, planning, reporting, treasury operations, and regulatory compliance for a company operating in the mining and drilling services industry.
The ideal candidate will bring strong financial leadership experience, in-depth knowledge of Saudi financial regulations, and a proven track record in project-based or asset-intensive industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic business planning.
- Oversee financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and external audit processes.
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, banking relationships, and funding requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT, Zakat, Withholding Tax (WHT), GOSI, and ZATCA regulations.
- Establish and strengthen financial controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.
- Oversee project costing, contract profitability, capital expenditure, and investment decisions.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Optimize financial processes and ERP systems to support business operations and decision-making.
Requirements
- Saudi Nationality is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or CA.
- Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior finance leadership role.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience in mining, drilling, oilfield services, construction, or other project-based and asset-intensive industries.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Saudi taxation, treasury management, and financial governance.
- Experience with ERP systems; Odoo experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is strongly preferred.
