Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Finance Manager to establish, lead, and manage the finance function of a contracting company and its affiliated entities.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in establishing finance departments, implementing financial controls and accounting systems, and independently managing day-to-day financial operations.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring both strategic financial oversight and direct operational involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

* Establish and develop the finance department, including its structure, policies, procedures, and internal controls.

* Lead and directly oversee all accounting and financial operations across the company and its affiliated entities.

* Manage monthly and annual financial closing processes, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

* Develop and implement accounting systems (ERP), reporting frameworks, and financial controls.

* Manage cash flow, working capital, banking facilities, and financial obligations.

* Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, management reports, and financial performance analyses.

* Oversee project accounting, cost allocation, work-in-progress (WIP), progress billings, retention, and subcontractor accounts.

* Monitor project profitability, cost variances, and financial performance.

* Ensure compliance with IFRS, Saudi tax and Zakat regulations, and applicable financial requirements.

* Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.

* Recruit, develop, and manage the finance and accounting team.

* Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Minimum 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.

* Minimum 5 years of direct experience in the contracting/construction industry.

* Previous experience in a finance leadership or management position.

* Proven experience establishing or restructuring a finance department.

* Strong hands-on experience in financial closing, financial reporting, and accounting operations.

* Solid knowledge of construction accounting, project costing, and cash flow management.

* Experience implementing and managing ERP/accounting systems.

* Strong understanding of IFRS and Saudi tax and Zakat regulations.

* Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA are preferred.

* Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently, take full ownership, and manage multiple entities.

Important: This position requires a hands-on finance professional capable of building the finance function from the ground up, directly executing critical financial tasks, and subsequently leading and developing the finance team.
