Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Executive Pastry Chef for its upcoming resort at The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the pastry and bakery department, working in collaboration with the Executive Chef to manage all aspects of pastry and bakery operations. The position is based in the region between Umluj and Al Wajh.

Role Overview

The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation within the pastry and bakery department. This includes leading a team of pastry professionals to deliver culinary experiences for guests, consistent with Four Seasons standards. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the pastry and bakery department, ensuring all products meet quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Oversee daily operations of the pastry and bakery kitchen, ensuring efficient service and resource utilization.
• Train, mentor, and develop pastry and bakery staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Stay informed about current trends in pastry and culinary arts, integrating new techniques and ideas into menus.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop dessert menus aligned with the resort’s culinary vision.
• Manage inventory and ordering of pastry supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Foster a creative and inspiring work environment that promotes continuous improvement.
• Cultivate teamwork and collaboration within the pastry department.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in pastry and bakery operations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing a culinary team.
