About the Role
Trading and Development Partnership is seeking an Electrical QAQC Engineer (Substations) to join our power infrastructure team in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the quality of construction works for High Voltage (HV) Substations, aligning with client and international standards. The ideal candidate will possess a background in Electrical Engineering and direct experience in quality control within this specialized field.
Role Purpose and Context
The Electrical QAQC Engineer will be responsible for executing and maintaining the project quality management system. This involves a hands-on approach to quality assurance and quality control processes for electrical equipment and stringing within substation projects. The position requires a commitment to meticulous documentation and proactive issue resolution to uphold project quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections specific to electrical equipment and stringing.
- Implement and track project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR).
- Maintain precise quality records, daily logs, and QA/QC punch lists for client review.
- Identify onsite non-conformances, issue internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.
- Witness site acceptance tests for electrical systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- A background in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Direct experience in quality control for High Voltage (HV) Substations.
- Between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, contributing to critical power infrastructure projects. The role involves working as part of a dedicated team focused on maintaining high quality standards in substation construction.
