About the Role

Waleed Yousef Alzayyad Certified Public Accountants (HLB WYZ) is seeking a Senior Associate for Internal Audit & Risk Advisory. This full-time position involves contributing to internal audit functions and risk advisory services, working with a focus on maintaining high standards of documentation and timely delivery. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform walkthroughs, process documentation, Risk and Control Matrices, audit programs, sampling, testing, and prepare review-ready working papers.
• Analyze data and exceptions, and draft initial observations, recommendations, and follow-up results.
• Support ERM, Governance, Compliance/GRC, Management Consulting, and ESG/Sustainability activities using provided methodologies, criteria, and templates.
• Prepare report sections, conduct research and analyses, and assist with proposal/tender materials as required by the engagement team.
• Maintain high standards of documentation, confidentiality, version control, and timely delivery across assigned workstreams.
• Coordinate closely with the engagement team, identify issues early, and support junior team members when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Approximately 4-7 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, External Audit with strong controls exposure, Risk Advisory, or Consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience in audit testing, working papers, process documentation, report drafting, and data analysis.
• CIA, ACCA, CA, CPA, CISA, CFE, or progress toward a relevant professional qualification is preferred.
• KSA/GCC client exposure is an advantage, particularly experience with advisory documentation and business processes.

Language Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
• Arabic capability is an advantage.
