The Locker Attendant Role

The Locker Attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This full-time position involves responding to guest requests, managing room supplies, and performing various housekeeping duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests.
• Transport supply carts to assigned areas.
• Enter guest rooms following established procedures, ensuring vacancy before entry.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items, make beds, and fold terry.
• Clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
• Verify that all in-room appliances are present and functional.
• Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete safety training and certifications, and properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests professionally.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
• Support team objectives and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and over 25 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout a work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of relevant experience is required for this position.
