Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily production operations, ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company goals while utilizing tools such as Lean Manufacturing techniques.
2. Develop and implement production schedules, coordinating with various departments to align resources and meet deadlines, ensuring that production targets are met without compromising quality.
3. Monitor production metrics and KPIs, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary to optimize operational efficiency.
4. Lead and mentor production staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance through regular training sessions.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment and high product quality.
6. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to improve product designs for manufacturability, ensuring that new products meet production capabilities and standards.
7. Manage inventory levels, coordinating with supply chain management to ensure the availability of materials while minimizing excess stock to optimize costs.
8. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices across all shifts.
9. Prepare and present production reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for future growth and improvement.
