Project Architect Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a talented and driven Project Architect to join a leading architectural practice with a presence in Riyadh. This is an exciting opportunity for a design-minded architect with strong technical ability to take ownership of key project packages and contribute to landmark developments during an unprecedented period of growth across the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for the architectural design and delivery of projects from concept through to construction documentation
• Translate concept designs into coordinated, buildable and well-detailed drawing packages
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, fa ade and landscape consultants to ensure a fully integrated design
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, schedules and presentations to a high standard
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, local authority regulations and relevant international standards
• Manage project deliverables and programmes, working closely with senior architects and project directors
• Liaise with clients, authorities, contractors and consultants to support smooth project delivery
• Guide and support junior architects and architectural assistants

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Architecture (Master s preferred)
• Minimum 6+ years of post-qualification experience in architecture, with a strong track record on large-scale projects
• Proven portfolio demonstrating strong design capability and delivered projects
• Previous GCC experience, ideally in Saudi Arabia, with a good understanding of local authority approval processes
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) accreditation is preferred, as is international chartership such as RIBA or AIA
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite, with working knowledge of rendering and visualisation tools (e.g. Rhino, SketchUp, Enscape, V-Ray or similar)
• Strong understanding of building codes, technical detailing and construction methods
• Excellent communication, coordination and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
