GRIVOT, specializing in human resources services and consulting, announces a job opportunity with a leading company in Riyadh for the position of Head of Assets Department.

We are looking for a specialized professional to lead fixed asset accounting operations, manage their records and depreciation, and oversee inventory and asset control across branches and locations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage the fixed asset register and update data for additions, transfers, and disposals.
• Calculate depreciation and review the useful lives and residual values of assets.
• Prepare periodic inventory plans and oversee asset tagging, verifying their locations and custody.
• Analyze inventory variances, resolve them, and reconcile the asset register with the general ledger.
• Monitor projects under construction and capitalize costs when assets are ready for use.
• Prepare reports on assets, depreciation, and impaired assets, and support audit processes.
• Develop asset control procedures and lead the department team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of practical experience in fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory.
• Experience in supervising a team and coordinating inventory operations across multiple locations.
• Knowledge of accounting standards related to fixed assets, capitalization, and depreciation.
• Proficiency in using ERP financial systems and Excel.
• Analytical and organizational skills, with accuracy in report preparation and discrepancy resolution.
• Experience in food, retail, manufacturing, and multi-branch sectors is preferred.
• Proficiency in English is preferred.
