J&B Holding is seeking a finance professional to support financial planning, liquidity management and project profitability across its contracting, interior fit-out and maintenance operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze management financial statements, budgets and cash-flow reports using reconciled accounting records.

• Build and maintain a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast, identify funding gaps and recommend practical corrective actions.

• Analyze profitability for each project, including actual costs, outstanding commitments, estimated costs to complete and forecast final margins.

• Develop and monitor financial KPIs covering profitability, liquidity, expenses, receivables and budget performance.

• Compare actual results against budgets and forecasts, investigate variances and recommend improvements.

• Review receivables, payables and payment commitments with the relevant teams to improve working-capital management.

• Evaluate the financial viability of new projects and maintenance contracts, including pricing, break-even requirements, payment terms and cash exposure.

• Prepare clear financial and management reports for senior management, supported by actionable recommendations.

• Work with accounting, procurement and project teams to improve the accuracy of financial information and follow up agreed actions.

• Support expense control, financial planning and the development of practical financial controls.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, BCom or BBA with a Finance specialization, or an equivalent relevant qualification. An MBA or postgraduate qualification in Finance is an advantage.

• Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting and project profitability analysis.

• Relevant experience in construction, contracting, interior fit-out, maintenance or a similar project-based business.

• Ability to assess project costs, outstanding commitments, estimated costs to complete and expected final profitability.

• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to build clear, reliable forecasts and management reports.

• Ability to interpret financial statements, investigate discrepancies and translate financial information into practical business recommendations.

• Experience developing and monitoring financial KPIs and explaining performance to senior management.

• Saudi Arabian or GCC contracting experience is preferred. Familiarity with Zoho Books is an advantage.

• Strong analytical judgement, attention to detail, confidentiality and communication skills.

This position focuses on financial analysis, planning and management decision support. Candidates whose experience is limited to routine bookkeeping or transaction processing will not meet the role’s requirements.
