Job Summary

The Electronics Technician Irrigation is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting the electronic components of irrigation systems, including soil moisture sensors, flow meters, solenoid valve controllers, and data loggers, to ensure efficient and reliable irrigation operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electronic components of irrigation systems.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot soil moisture sensors.
• Inspect and maintain flow meters and solenoid valve controllers.
• Diagnose faults in irrigation control panels and electronic devices.
• Check data loggers and monitor irrigation system readings.
• Identify faulty components and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with irrigation technicians and engineering teams.
• Maintain maintenance records and report technical issues.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in irrigation electronics or related maintenance.
• Knowledge of electronic sensors, flow meters, solenoid valves, and control panels.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing irrigation control systems.
• Good technical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
