Job Description

Receiving customers and completing their banking transactions (cash/clearing ), disbursing payment methods, receiving payment methods and handling non-cash transactions.

Review the cash and reconcile the daily cash balance in the branch treasury (physical inventory) with the reports (cash review/review) and notify the branch operations manager when there are any discrepancies.

Cash must be transferred to the public treasury at the end of the day and at intervals during the day when there is a surplus beyond the approved cash ceiling, and no cash balance must be retained at the end of the day.

Execute cash withdrawal operations for the public treasury and cash receipt operations from them, and record the transactions in modifying/withdrawing cash or inserting cash in the job strip as appropriate.

Requesting, receiving, and storing controlled printouts (traveler's checks, general administration checks, correspondents) from the cashier's inventory entry/input in the job strip.

Forward the monitored printouts to the chief cashier when needed by entering/forwarding monitored printouts in the function bar, and ensure that the relevant cashier receives them.

Switching cash denominations with customers and cashiers is done through an edit in the function bar, and cash denominations are modified to adjust cash denominations in the treasury with computer reports.

Loading temporary aggregate accounts at the end of the day (loading purchased traveler's checks and clearing checks) from the item entry/position in the job bar and sending traveler's checks and clearing checks to the chief cashier according to the confirmed receipts.

The cashier's work is closed at the end of the day by locking the user's work from the operations unit in the function bar, then exiting the system.

Receiving and welcoming all customers upon entering the branch and working to provide the required service.

Assisting customers in filling out forms if necessary.

Guiding customers to complete their transactions correctly and how to perform the operations available in ATMs or other electronic channels.

Directing customers to the appropriate employee.

Quick response to address customer problems and fulfill their requests in accordance with work procedures and instructions, and follow-up with the branch supervisor to resolve problems.

Receiving ATM card applications, entering them into the system, instant printing of the card, and delivery of renewed cards by the administration to the customer.

Delivery of checkbooks to customers (they must be kept in the public treasury if the employee does not have a safe, and delivery forms must be sent by mail to the archives center).

Handling account transfer requests.

Receiving the account closure request, modifying the account data and handing it over to the operations manager for entry into the system.

Receiving requests to update data.

Fulfill customer requests to provide them with instant account statements from the View/Current Account/Previous Transactions Status section in the function bar.

Fulfilling standing orders for customers, creating and activating memberships, and transferring them to the operations manager to complete the implementation procedures.

Print clearance forms.

Entering claims related to ATMs and points of sale into the ATM card claims system.

Receiving customer problems and forwarding them to the operations manager to work on resolving them.

Inquire about ATM cards withdrawn from the branch's ATM and direct the customer to collect them from the head teller.

Providing customers with product brochures. Referring customers interested in the bank's products to the sales manager and customer relationship manager.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

Qualifications:

Diploma or higher in business administration, economics or accounting.

Experience:

3–5 years of experience in branches
