Role Overview

El Seif Engineering Contracting Company is seeking a PROJECT MANAGER (MEP) for a full-time position. The primary objective of this role is to ensure projects are completed on time and within approved budgets for cost and resources, while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the development of KSA national employees to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets, and knowledge dissemination.
• Provide input to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure.
• Conduct team affairs with high standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
• Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy and company values across all employees, reinforcing a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
• Manage the adoption and utilization of systems and ERP within the function.
• Represent the organization and enhance relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and communicate with field supervision, subcontractors, and vendors regarding the MEP project schedule.
• Administer financial aspects of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Review general contracts and documents, confirming budget setup and project milestones with the Project Lead.
• Create a schedule of values and project logs, and plan for project safety and mobilization.
• Maintain cost control, buy schedules, write scopes of work, distribute and log subcontracts, and confirm compliance with project insurance requirements.
• Manage purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, shop drawings, document control logs, and correspondence.
• Attend and chair necessary MEP meetings to monitor and manage the project.
• Manage requisitions and payments, including lien releases and project payroll, while maintaining cash flow.
• Deliver all necessary manuals and consolidate project documentation and files.
• Manage subcontractor closeout, utility transfers, owner training, and the punch list process.
• Deliver all warranties, as-builts, and training to the owner.
• Manage work teams for effective delivery of daily objectives, including control of work hours and incentive schemes.
• Liaise with HSE and Quality departments to ensure compliance with Company Health, Safety & Environment and quality policies.
• Respond to emergencies and take remedial action to protect health, safety, and the environment.
• Identify and ensure assigned manpower skills align with project requirements.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within MEP.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Experience in managing and developing national employees.
• Proficiency in managing project finances, contracts, and procurement processes.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and quality management systems.
