Job Purpose

To execute, supervise, and coordinate fit-out and finishing works across construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules while maintaining safety and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fit-out and finishing activities at project sites.
• Monitor flooring, ceiling, partitioning, painting, joinery, doors, glazing, and other interior finishing works.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, MEP, and other project teams to resolve site-related issues.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, supervisors, and site workers to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor work progress, material requirements, manpower, and installation schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure timely rectification of defects and non-conforming works.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, material estimation, and cost monitoring.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, and site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and applicable Saudi regulations.
• Must be in snagging, final inspections, and project handover activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Maximum 10 years of Proven experience in fit-out and finishing works within construction or contracting companies.
• Practical experience in interior finishing, material installation, and site supervision.
• Good knowledge of architectural drawings, shop drawings, construction materials, and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures, site safety requirements, and applicable Saudi regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software.
• Ability to coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.

Accountability

The Fit-out Engineer is accountable for the proper execution and supervision of assigned fit-out and finishing works, ensuring quality workmanship, technical compliance, effective site coordination, and timely completion in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
