Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Riyadh Region for a Senior Data Center Electrical Consultant specializing in critical power and commissioning. The role involves leading electrical design reviews for HV/MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution for Tier III/IV data centers with N+1 and 2N configurations. The consultant will perform technical assessments, develop design recommendations, and advise clients on best practices for reliability, resilience, and energy efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing technical reports and specifications, overseeing factory and site acceptance tests, and leading integrated systems testing (IST) and commissioning activities. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, supporting project planning and risk analysis, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and international codes.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with deep knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems and critical power infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess advanced expertise in Electrical Design and Power Distribution for Tier III/IV data centers, including N+1 and 2N redundancy architectures.
• Candidates should possess proven Consulting experience, including client advisory, technical reporting, and participation in design and commissioning reviews.
• Candidates should possess experience with UPS, generator systems, integrated systems testing (IST), and commissioning of mission-critical facilities.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant international and regional standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NFPA, Uptime Institute, local authority codes).
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities for complex electrical systems.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; professional certifications in data centers, power systems, or commissioning are beneficial.
• Extensive experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region’s regulatory and utility environment is highly advantageous.
