Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Wet Chemist / Wet Chem Technician

• Perform wet chemical analysis of samples accurately and efficiently following approved testing methods and laboratory procedures.

• Operate laboratory instruments including AAS ICP UV LECO and XRF to support laboratory testing activities.

• Conduct routine equipment checks and report instrument faults or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.

• Follow quality control procedures maintain accurate laboratory records and report any non-conformities.

• Prepare handle and label laboratory solutions and standards correctly.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness ensure proper use of PPE and comply with safety hygiene and QHSE requirements.

• Monitor laboratory supplies and report shortages or operational issues to the supervisor.

• Support daily laboratory operations to ensure timely reliable and accurate test results.

Qualifications :

Qualifications and Experience

• A Chemistry-related qualification is preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.

• Hands-on experience in wet chemical analysis.

• Practical experience with AAS and ICP is a priority.

• Experience with UV LECO and XRF is an advantage.

• Good understanding of laboratory procedures quality control and safety requirements.

• Good communication skills.
