We’re Hiring: Procurement Engineer – Jeddah

MAFCO – Mahmoud Atta Factory for Metal Products Co.

Second Industrial City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

MAFCO is a growing steel fabrication company serving contractors and developers across Saudi Arabia. We make structural steel, hollow metal doors, fencing and gates, handrails, bollards, lockers and more. We are looking for a Procurement Engineer to strengthen our supply chain as we expand into our new factory.

Responsibilities

• Source and buy steel, sheet metal, tubes, hardware, coatings and consumables from local and international suppliers
• Import goods from China and other countries, and manage the full cycle: RFQs, negotiation, orders, shipping, customs and delivery
• Manage logistics: freight forwarders, brokers, port clearance, and inbound and outbound shipments
• Support export activities and documentation as we prepare for the next stage of the factory
• Compare quotations, control costs, and build strong supplier relationships
• Work with the estimating, engineering and production teams to keep material available on time

Requirements

• Must currently live in Jeddah

• Valid driving license

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial or similar) or an equivalent field
• Proven experience in procurement in metal fabrication or metal sourcing
• Hands-on experience importing from China and other countries (Incoterms, Saber/SASO, customs clearance)
• Knowledge of export procedures and documentation
• Strong logistics and supply chain management skills
• Good English; Arabic is a plus
• Comfortable with Excel and modern tools, including AI tools
