About the Role

Dell Technologies is seeking a Principal Engineer - AI Networking Solutions Architect to join its Services Solutions Architecture team. This full-time role focuses on advancing high-performance AI infrastructure. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring that technical solutions meet client priorities and challenges, maintaining Dell Technologies' commitment to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and integration of AI network infrastructure solutions, leveraging NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel technologies.
• Coordinate technical solution team activities to fulfill contract obligations and manage full life cycle delivery costs within service level agreements.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to prevent customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain effective communication with partners and cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and relationships.
• Collaborate with clients to assess technical requirements and deliver customized infrastructure solutions.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, technical designs, and operational procedures.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer engagement lifecycle, managing service matters and customer escalations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Five or more years of full-time experience as an IT professional in a Data Centre environment.
• Proven success in designing and deploying large-scale AI network infrastructures.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with networking concepts, including IP Switching and Routing, L3 BGP eVPN Data Centre technologies, Firewalls, and Security products.
• Experience with equipment from one or more third-party networking vendors such as Cisco Networks, Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks, or Extreme Networks.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing advanced networking solutions, including NVIDIA InfiniBand and Ethernet technologies.
• Proficiency in NVIDIA networking technologies: InfiniBand (Quantum), Ethernet (Spectrum-X), MLNX-OS, NVIDIA Cumulus OS, and Enterprise SONiC.

Skills and Abilities

• Capacity to manage multiple projects independently and deliver results within dynamic environments.
• Strong knowledge and experience with communications, wide area networking, and local area networking.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills for effectively detailing routine technical problems and summarizing them for diverse clients, including business and technical stakeholders.

Work Environment

This role is part of the Services Solutions Architecture team, where collaboration with cross-functional teams and direct client engagement are central to delivering technical solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
