Role Overview: PROJECT MANAGER - MEP

El Seif Engineering Contracting Company is seeking a PROJECT MANAGER - MEP to ensure the timely completion of projects within approved budgets for cost and resources, while maintaining quality and safety standards. This full-time role requires over 10 years of experience in MEP construction and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the development of KSA national employees to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets, and knowledge dissemination.
• Provide input to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure.
• Conduct team affairs with high standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
• Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy and company values across all employees, reinforcing a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
• Manage the adoption and utilization of systems and ERP within the function.
• Represent the organization and enhance relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and communicate with company field supervision, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to the Project Schedule for MEP.
• Administer financial aspects of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Build effective working relationships with clients and project team members.
• Review general contracts and documents, confirming budget setup and project milestones with the Project Lead.
• Create a schedule of values, project logs, and plans for project safety and mobilization.
• Review purchasing processes and document control.
• Maintain cost control, buy schedules, write scopes of work, distribute and log subcontracts, and confirm compliance with project insurance requirements.
• Manage purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, shop drawings, document control logs, and correspondence.
• Attend and chair necessary MEP meetings to monitor and manage the project.
• Manage requisitions and payments, including lien releases and project payroll, while maintaining optimal cash flow.
• Deliver all necessary manuals and consolidate project documentation and files.
• Manage subcontractor closeout, utility transfers, owner training, and the punch list process.
• Deliver all warranties, as-builts, and training to the owner.
• Manage work teams for effective delivery of daily objectives, including control of work hours, overtime, and incentive schemes.
• Liaise with HSE and Quality departments to ensure project safety and quality align with company policies and client satisfaction.
• Respond to emergencies and take remedial action to protect health, safety, and the environment.
• Identify and ensure assigned manpower skills align with project requirements.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System.
• Follow and maintain Company Quality System requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• ** in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in MEP construction and project management, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Mandatory NEBOSH or OSHA certification in construction project safety.
• Proficient in construction project safety, QA/QC Management, and Contractual Management.
• Demonstrated knowledge in civil construction management and project management skills.
• Proven ability to handle complex projects with a focus on results.
• Experience in P&L accountability with business acumen.
• Well-versed in identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Capable of predicting project cost to complete and adhering to budgeted project plans.
• Experienced in implementing Statutory, Legal, and Company Policies and Procedures.
