Banquets Manager Saudi Only

About the Role

Luxury Collection is seeking a Banquets Manager to join our team. This full-time role is open to Saudi nationals only and involves directing and motivating the banquet team to deliver high-quality service based on established requirements and standards. The Banquets Manager will oversee financial and administrative responsibilities, including asset protection, and ensure clear communication for successful event execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Project supply needs for the department, including china, glass, silver, buffet presentations, and props.
• Apply knowledge of all laws relevant to event operations.
• Manage activities to maximize customer satisfaction, understanding the impact of banquet operations on overall event success.
• Adhere to and reinforce all standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain established sanitation levels and manage departmental inventories and equipment.
• Control costs and manage banquet beverage perpetual inventory using banquet beverage records.
• Schedule banquet service staff according to forecasts and service standards, while maximizing profits.
• Assist the team in developing lasting relationships with groups to retain business and increase growth.

Team Leadership and Customer Service

• Set goals and delegate tasks to improve departmental performance.
• Conduct monthly department meetings with the Banquet team.
• Apply and continually broaden knowledge of food and beverage, including cutting-edge cuisine and current event trends.
• Act as a liaison to the kitchen staff.
• Lead shifts and actively participate in the servicing of events.
• Set a positive example for guest relations and interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints, empowering employees to provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure employees understand expectations and parameters, striving to improve service performance.
• Emphasize guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focus on continuous improvement.
• Review comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees.

Human Resources and Operational Oversight

• Communicate and execute departmental and property emergency procedures, ensuring staff are trained in safety protocols.
• Observe service behaviors of employees and provide individual feedback.
• Monitor progress and lead discussions with staff each period.
• Participate in the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
• Review quarterly Meeting Planner Survey results and participate in the development and implementation of corrective action to address service challenges, focusing on continuous improvement of guest satisfaction.
• Attend and participate in all pertinent meetings.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in banquet management or a similar role. The ability to direct and motivate a team while maintaining high service standards is essential. Strong communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction are required.
