The Role of Tendering and Proposal Electrical Engineer
The Tendering and Proposal Electrical Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. This role is central to the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for electrical, instrumentation, and automation projects. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring bids are competitive and compliant with project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings thoroughly.
- Prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals for electrical, instrumentation, and automation projects.
- Estimate costs and prepare bills of quantities for various project components.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to develop competitive and compliant bids.
- Communicate with clients and suppliers to clarify requirements and gather necessary technical data.
- Ensure alignment of proposals with project standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive tender documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of bidding processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals.
- Strong understanding of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Proficiency in cost estimation and bill of quantities preparation.
Work Environment and Type
This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The role requires active collaboration with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project bidding.
