Senior Manager, Artificial Intelligence (ai)

Job Summary

The Senior Manager AI will lead the development and implementation of AI strategies leveraging artificial intelligence machine learning automation and advanced analytics to enhance operational efficiency improve decision-making optimize costs and drive business growth while ensuring compliance with technology standards data governance cybersecurity and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:

• AI Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute the AI roadmap aligned with business objectives digital transformation priorities and long-term technology strategy.
  
• AI Solutions and Business Optimization: Lead the design development deployment and integration of AI and machine learning solutions; identify use cases across manufacturing supply chain sales marketing finance HR and other functions to automate processes improve productivity and reduce costs.
  
• Data and Advanced Analytics: Oversee data analytics predictive modeling and machine learning to generate actionable insights improve forecasting and support data-driven decisions.
  
• AI Governance and Compliance: Establish governance frameworks standards and controls to ensure responsible AI adoption data privacy security transparency and compliance with Saudi regulations and company policies.
  
• Technology Integration: Ensure AI solutions integrate effectively with SAP enterprise systems data platforms business applications and operational technologies.
  
• Project and Portfolio Management: Manage AI project priorities budgets timelines KPIs expected business benefits delivery and return on investment.
  
• Vendor and Technology Management: Evaluate AI platforms tools and service providers manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with technical commercial security and business requirements.
  
• Team Leadership and Capability Development: Lead and develop the AI team establish performance objectives and promote AI awareness and technical capabilities across the organization.
  
• Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Monitor AI solution performance adoption accuracy efficiency gains and financial impact through KPIs; assess emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Data Science Software Engineering or a related field.
  
• 812 years of relevant experience in AI data science machine learning or digital transformation including experience leading AI initiatives or technical teams.
  
• Experience in the FMCG industry within a multi-site organization.
  
• Experience developing and implementing AI strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  
• Strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Data Science and Advanced Analytics.
  
• Experience in AI solutions design development deployment and integration.
  
• Knowledge of AI governance data privacy cybersecurity and risk management.
  
• Experience integrating AI solutions with SAP enterprise systems and business applications.
  
• Fluent in English.
  

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Science Food Science or another relevant field. 1215 years of relevant experience in QHSE or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in a strategic management or senior leadership role. Previous experience in the FMCG industry and within a manufacturing-based organization is mandatory. Strong experience overseeing multiple operational locations such as factories branches warehouses silos or distribution facilities. NEBOSH or OSHA certification is mandatory. Relevant ISO certification or auditing experience is preferred. Fluent English communication skills. Proven experience leading QHSE teams and managing substantial resources. Willingness to conduct field visits to factories branches warehouses and other company locations across Saudi Arabia.
