Job description

To assist the Lead Estimator in evaluating and reporting on project cost estimates, tendering, and bidding activities ensuring all activities are in align with the overall Estimation strategy to achieve successful and profitable project outcomes across the organization.

• Follow all relevant departmental processes, policies, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Cost Estimation

• Research and analyze current prices of construction material, equipment, labour rates, and relevant costs in Saudi Arabia to create a database of competitive rates for various project components.
• Implement comprehensive quantity take-off and review direct cost estimates to contribute toward the completeness of overall project cost, supporting detailed cost estimation and preparation.
• Study the project scope of work, client’s requirement, BOQ, project milestones and specifications from supplied bid documents.
• Provide support to the Lead Estimator by conducting Quantity Surveying (QS) activities to contribute to the creation of detailed cost estimates and error-free estimation packages, to support successful project bids.
• Collate information to create quotations consolidating information on sources and brand specification, to support informed decision making and upholding reliability.
