Ac Technician

Job Summary

• Install maintain and repair air conditioning ventilation and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on HVAC equipment and control systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize system performance and reliability.
• Inspect equipment and identify worn or defective components for replacement.
• Test system performance including electrical mechanical and refrigerant components.
• Recharge refrigerant systems in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret technical manuals wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental standards during all work activities.
• Maintain accurate service reports maintenance records and equipment documentation.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and equipment breakdowns.
• Coordinate with supervisors engineers and other maintenance personnel to complete work efficiently.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in HVAC/R is preferred.
• Valid HVAC/A/C Technician certification or license (where required).
• Proven experience in installing and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems electrical controls refrigeration cycles and mechanical components.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams blueprints and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools testing equipment and hand tools.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
