Key Responsibilities

A. Daily Nursing Supervision

• Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Distribute nursing duties and ensure appropriate coverage of clinical areas.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and adherence to assigned schedules.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to nursing staff.
• Escalate staffing issues and operational concerns to the Head Nurse.

B. Patient Care and Clinical Support

• Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care.
• Assist dermatologists and aesthetic physicians during consultations and procedures.
• Ensure patients are appropriately prepared before dermatological, aesthetic, and laser treatments.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures and report any adverse reactions or complications promptly.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.

C. Dermatology, Aesthetic & Laser Operations

• Coordinate nursing support for dermatology consultations, laser sessions, and aesthetic procedures.
• Ensure treatment rooms, medical equipment, and supplies are prepared and available.
• Verify that procedures are performed by appropriately qualified and authorized personnel.
• Report equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, and operational issues to the Head Nurse.
• Support the implementation of approved clinical protocols and departmental procedures.

D. Infection Control and Patient Safety

• Ensure adherence to infection prevention, sterilization, and medical waste disposal procedures.
• Monitor compliance with patient identification and safety protocols.
• Report incidents, adverse events, and near misses according to clinic policies.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and administration of medications in accordance with approved procedures.

E. Documentation and Communication

• Ensure nursing records and shift reports are accurate and complete.
• Communicate relevant patient care updates and operational concerns to the Head Nurse.
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments to maintain smooth patient flow.
• Assist in monitoring medical supplies and reporting replenishment requirements.
• Support patient satisfaction initiatives and address routine nursing-related concerns within the assigned authority.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution, subject to applicable requirements.
• Valid professional registration and classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), as applicable.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous nursing experience; experience in dermatology, aesthetic, or laser clinics is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and clinical documentation standards.
• Good communication, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
