Designed as one of the city’s largest and most ambitious restaurant projects, Abareez will combine world-class culinary talent with immersive themed ambiences to deliver a unique guest experience. The concept features Italian, Indian, Turkish, Lebanese, and dedicated Seafood kitchens led by internationally experienced chefs. Role Description The Seafood Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based at Abareez in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves preparing and presenting seafood dishes according to restaurant standards, supporting the seafood kitchen team, and ensuring all ingredients are stored, handled, and cooked in line with food safety and hygiene regulations. Responsibilities include assisting with seafood cleaning and preparation, setting up and maintaining the seafood station, and coordinating with chefs and service staff to ensure timely, high-quality service. The seafood staff member will help maintain a clean and organized work area, support inventory checks for seafood products, and contribute to creating a fine dining experience for guests. The role may also include direct interaction with guests at open kitchens or display areas, providing information about seafood offerings when required.
Qualifications

• Experience in seafood preparation and cooking, including handling, cleaning, portioning, and cooking a variety of fish and shellfish.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards, including HACCP, hygiene practices, and proper storage of seafood products.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced fine dining environment, managing time, multitasking, and collaborating with chefs and front-of-house teams.
• Customer-oriented mindset with clear communication skills and a professional, respectful attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Previous experience in high-end or multi-cuisine restaurants is an advantage; formal culinary training or relevant certifications are preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to follow established kitchen procedures and standards.
• Basic English communication skills; Arabic language skills are an asset but not mandatory.
