Home Healthcare Assistant

Job Summary

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Home Healthcare Assistant to join their team in Riyadh.

Job Summary:

Provide safe compassionate and dignified personal care to patients in their homes. Assist with daily living activities hygiene mobility nutrition and comfort while monitoring patients conditions following the approved care plan and reporting any changes to the HHC Nursing Supervisor. Ensure patient safety infection control and respectful care while supporting patients and their families.

Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties Leadership

Assist patients with daily personal care including bathing dressing grooming and toileting.

Support patient mobility transfers and repositioning to ensure comfort and safety.

Assist with meals feeding and fluid intake according to the prescribed care plan.

Monitor and record vital signs as instructed by the HHC nurse.

Observe changes in patients health conditions and report them promptly to the nursing supervisor.

Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean and safe home care environment.

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.

Support family members in maintaining continuity of daily patient care.

Maintain accurate records of care provided during each shift.

Adhere to patient confidentiality dignity and safety policies.

Requirements

• Diploma in Patient Care.
  

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
  

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  

• Knowledge of basic patient care hygiene and infection control.
  

• Ability to assist patients with mobility and daily living activities.
  

• Compassion patience and a strong sense of responsibility.
  

• Good Arabic communication skills; basic English is an advantage.
  

• Willingness to work rotating shifts and provide home visits.
  

Required Skills:

- Saudi Male. - Medical degree (MD) with completed Internal Medicine Residency. - SCFHS registration as an Internal Medicine Senior Registrar. - 13 years of experience in Internal Medicine. - Experience in home healthcare or telemedicine is preferred. - Proficiency in Health Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Health Records (EHR). - Strong clinical judgment communication and patient care skills. - Fluent in Arabic and English. - ICU or HDU experience is an advantage.
