Site Lead Commissioning Engineer

About the Role

Wood is seeking a Site Lead Commissioning Engineer to join its Projects business. This full-time role is based at a remote site in Saudi Arabia and involves contributing to the development of a new gold mine and processing facility. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review construction execution plans, construction schedules, and method statements.
• Monitor construction progress, contractor performance, and compliance with safety and quality standards on-site.
• Support in resolving technical queries, managing field changes, and updating as-built documentation.
• Manage interfaces among multiple contractors and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee mechanical completion, punch-list closure, and provide support during commissioning and pre-startup phases.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in construction and pre-commissioning roles, preferably within large-scale industrial projects.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located at a remote site in Saudi Arabia, focused on the development of a new gold mine and processing facility. The role requires a consistent on-site presence.
