AFCAP V PSAB ESS : Heavy Pavement Technician (Secret Clearance)

Job Summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Pavement Technician to support the AFCAP V Program in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing Engineering Support Services to the * Air Force, specifically the 378 ECES, at Prince Sultan Air Base. The technician will contribute to mission-critical Installation Engineering, Asset Management and Visibility, and Real Property support for the 378 AEW.

Role Overview

The Heavy Pavement Technician is responsible for executing TNAP Sub-AMP tasks related to airfield and transportation pavements. This includes performing pavement condition assessments, ensuring inventory accuracy, and providing inputs for maintenance strategies. The role directly supports SMS and PAVER-driven asset visibility, contributing to targets for completeness, currency, and data quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pavement inspections and assessments, documenting conditions to support PCI updates and sustainment planning.
• Support data collection and quality inputs for SMS/PAVER workflows, correcting discrepancies according to established timeline standards.
• Provide technical recommendations for pavement maintenance, repair, and marking activities, aligning with risk and mission needs.
• Support Sub-AMP planning, including recommendations for Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM), and work task grouping for the Work Requirement Review Board (WRRB).
• Participate in Sub-AMP working groups, providing status updates on portfolio risk and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with TNAP AMP leadership to ensure that data and field observations are translated into actionable requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Candidates must possess a Secret Clearance.
• Experience in pavement condition assessments and maintenance strategy input is essential.
• Familiarity with SMS and PAVER systems is preferred.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Saudi Arabia, supporting operations at Prince Sultan Air Base. The role is integral to KBR's broader support services, which also include food services and other quality-of-life provisions to sustain base operations.
