We are looking for experienced Cost Engineers to manage project cost estimation, budget planning, cost control, and financial monitoring activities. The ideal candidates should have a strong background in engineering cost management, estimation, budgeting, and project planning.
- Develop and monitor project budgets and cost plans.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity calculations.
- Conduct cost analysis and evaluate project expenditures.
- Monitor actual project costs against approved budgets and identify cost variances.
- Support budget forecasting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Review tender documents, quotations, and contractor cost submissions.
- Prepare cost reports, progress estimates, and financial updates.
- Support project managers in cost control and estimation planning.
- Evaluate variations, additional works, and potential cost impacts.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, and project management teams.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved budget utilization.
- Bachelor's degree in Cost Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Background in Cost Engineering, Estimating, or Engineering Project Management.
- Experience in budget planning, cost estimation, and cost control.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and cost analysis.
- Experience in project planning, forecasting, and financial monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of estimation techniques and project cost management.
- PMP certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Arabic proficiency required; English communication skills are an advantage.
