1. Responsibilities:Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position loads as per project specifications, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
2. Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and equipment, identifying any issues and performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
3. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate lifts, ensuring effective communication to prevent accidents and ensure timely project completion.
4. Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including load weights and operational hours, to support project reporting and compliance requirements.
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, conducting safety briefings for crew members before operations to promote a safe working environment.
6. Assist in the setup and dismantling of crane equipment, ensuring that all components are securely installed and operational for each lift.
7. Monitor weather conditions and site conditions to determine the safe operation of cranes, making adjustments as necessary to ensure safety and efficiency.
8. Provide training and guidance to junior operators and apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance and safety.
9. Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry standards, safety regulations, and operational best practices.

Skills

• Proficient in operating mobile cranes with a valid operator's license and a strong understanding of crane mechanics.
• Expertise in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to execute lifting operations accurately.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to crane operations and site safety.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
