Expertly prepare a wide variety of traditional Arabic sweets such as Baklava, Basbousa, Kunafa, Maamoul, and more, maintaining authentic taste and presentation.
Develop and innovate menu offerings reflecting both classic recipes and new creations, in line with customer preferences and market trends.
Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations, maintaining immaculate workstations and following SOPs for food storage, preparation, and display.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient preparation and timely service during peak and off-peak hours.
Coordinate with sales and retail teams to understand customer demand, receive feedback, and adjust production schedules accordingly.
Monitor ingredient inventory, ensure timely ordering, and control wastage to maintain cost-effective operations.
Train junior kitchen staff in preparation techniques, plating, hygiene, and company standards for product quality.
Participate in periodic quality checks and tastings to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a chef specializing in Arabic sweets within a commercial production or retail environment.
Vocational training/certification in Culinary Arts, Patisserie, or related field; special focus on Arabic or Middle Eastern cuisine highly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of traditional Arabic sweets’ recipes, preparation methods, and presentation.
Demonstrated understanding of HACCP standards and food safety regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as per business needs.
