Role Overview: Medical Science Liaison KSA (Dermatology)

GALDERMA is seeking a Medical Science Liaison specializing in Dermatology for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on advancing scientific understanding and standards of care within the dermatology field. The Medical Science Liaison will enhance GALDERMA's scientific credibility and facilitate medical-scientific projects by engaging with key thought leaders and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Advance science and standards of care for patients and healthcare providers.
• Enhance GALDERMA's scientific credibility with established and emerging national and regional key thought/opinion leaders (KTLs/KOLs).
• Act as the primary contact for KTLs/KOLs to facilitate medical-scientific projects and requests, such as clinical studies, NIS, and IITs.
• Identify, develop, and maintain contact with local, regional, and national KTLs/KOLs and experts through approved field engagement plans.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with KTLs/KOLs and academic centers to ensure access to current medical and scientific information.
• Ensure KTLs/KOLs have access to practical and clinically relevant information for the efficient and safe use of GALDERMA's products.
• Communicate information about GALDERMA’s compounds in development in a strictly scientific, non-promotional manner, adhering to all regulations and policies.
• Organize and implement advisory boards independently.
• Plan, contact, and brief speakers for scientific symposia.
• Support sales force education and training courses and deliver scientific and medical slide kits to healthcare providers.
• Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences.
• Support scientific dialogue and collaborations, including facilitating requests for scientific and medical information.
• Produce, review, and update internally approved scientific presentations for assigned therapeutic areas as needed.
• Maintain a high level of scientific knowledge for credible dissemination of information and informed dialogue with KOLs/KTLs.
• Gather and generate actionable insights through congress attendance, engagement with external stakeholders, and scientific literature review.
• Collaborate closely with medical office staff and relevant marketing & sales teams.
• Support internal teams by delivering scientific update presentations to enhance their expertise.
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other in-field members while maintaining functional independence.
• Communicate and interact with Global and International Medical Affairs teams.
• Serve as a point of contact within the Medical Affairs Team for KTLs/KOLs in KSA to address their scientific knowledge needs.
• Participate in the selection process to identify qualified thought leaders for collaborative efforts, ensuring scientific integrity.
• Ensure all activities comply with applicable local, global, and national laws, regulations, guidelines, and GALDERMA policies.
• Support GALDERMA research by identifying investigators and providing feedback to medical and clinical teams.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information.
• Utilize modern technology platforms to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct, fleet, IT, and confidentiality.
