Job Summary
- Assist the Director of Finance in overseeing the hotels financial operations and accounting functions.
- Lead budgeting forecasting financial planning and monthly financial reporting.
- Monitor financial performance GOP operating expenses and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with Accor financial policies internal controls IFRS and local regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable accounts receivable income audit and general accounting.
- Monitor cash flow working capital and financial risks.
- Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Support cost control initiatives and ensure effective financial management across all departments.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Partner with the General Manager and Department Heads on financial and operational decisions.
- Lead coach and develop the Finance team.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA ACCA CMA) is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel finance preferably within an international luxury hotel brand.
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Assistant Director of Finance role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of IFRS internal controls and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hotel financial systems (Opera SUN SAP or equivalent).
- Strong analytical leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
