About the Role

HUDSON is seeking an experienced QC Insulation Inspector to join a reputable company in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong background in the Oil & Gas sector, focusing on quality control for insulation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect thermal insulation activities for piping, vessels, tanks, and other equipment in accordance with approved project specifications and applicable standards.
• Verify insulation materials, including type, thickness, density, and compliance with approved material specifications.
• Inspect surface preparation to ensure equipment or piping is ready for insulation application.
• Monitor the installation of insulation materials, cladding, jacketing, and associated accessories.
• Verify insulation thickness, installation quality, joint arrangements, and finishing.
• Inspect weatherproofing, sealing, and cladding to ensure protection against moisture ingress and environmental exposure.
• Review approved drawings, inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with site engineers, construction teams, and QA/QC personnel to resolve quality-related issues.
• Raise inspection requests and maintain inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation.
• Identify non-conformities, report defects, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements and applicable health and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in QC inspection.
• Hands-on experience in piping and equipment insulation within Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
• Experience gained in the Gulf region is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience from their home country are also eligible.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with site and quality teams.

Compensation

The basic salary for this position ranges from SAR 3,000 to SAR 4,000 per month.
