JOB TITLE
AI Art Model Adaptation Specialist — Fine-Tuning & Artist Styles
ABOUT THE JOB
De Art is an independent digital visual arts and cultural media platform dedicated to exploring the intersection of art, creativity, and emerging technologies.
We are seeking an AI Art Model Adaptation Specialist to explore how generative AI models can be adapted for artistic applications, visual experimentation, and creative workflows.
This role focuses on model fine-tuning, style adaptation, and the responsible integration of AI technologies into digital art. The successful candidate will contribute to research and experimentation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, visual culture, and computational creativity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research methods for adapting generative AI models to specific artistic and visual requirements.
• Experiment with fine-tuning techniques, including LoRA and other parameter-efficient adaptation methods.
• Explore AI model adaptation for different visual styles, artistic approaches, and creative applications.
• Develop and evaluate experimental workflows for AI-assisted visual art.
• Investigate the technical and creative limitations of adapted generative models.
• Document experiments, methodologies, and results for research and editorial use.
• Collaborate with artists, researchers, and creative technologists on AI-based art projects.
• Promote responsible model adaptation, including appropriate permissions and respect for artists’ intellectual property.
• Follow developments in generative AI, model customization, and computational creativity.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, digital arts, or a related field.
• Familiarity with generative AI models and image-generation technologies.
• Understanding of model fine-tuning, LoRA, or related adaptation techniques.
• Experience with Python and relevant AI frameworks is an advantage.
• Knowledge of visual arts, artistic styles, or computational creativity.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to artistic and non-technical audiences.
• An interdisciplinary approach to technology and visual culture is highly valued.
