Role Overview: Purchasing Manager (Saudi National Only)
The Purchasing Manager will oversee the procurement of goods and services for FAENA The Red Sea, ensuring optimal quality, cost, and timely acquisition. This full-time role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with various internal departments to maintain efficient inventory levels, control costs, and ensure a smooth operational supply chain.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support operational needs and cost efficiency.
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability criteria.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with vendors.
Issue and manage purchase orders in alignment with approved budgets and requirements.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Coordinate with departments such as finance, stores, and operations to identify purchasing needs.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Control purchasing costs and identify opportunities for savings.
Review and approve purchase requests and quotations.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing and supplier options.
Ensure quality standards are met for all purchased items.
Support budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities.
Prepare purchasing reports and performance analysis for management.
Ensure ethical and transparent procurement practices at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
Demonstrated ability to manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and control costs effectively.
Strong understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and market dynamics.
