IT Support & Network Administrator

About the Role
Eram Talent is seeking an IT Support & Network Administrator to join their team. This full-time role involves supporting and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, network devices, servers, and end-user systems. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain network connectivity, and assist with the administration of Windows-based systems. This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities

Provide daily technical support to users for hardware, software, network, and connectivity-related issues.
Assist in the administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure and network systems.
Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points (WAPs).
Support network connectivity, IP addressing, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network troubleshooting.
Administer and maintain Windows Server and Windows Desktop operating systems.
Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Manage user accounts, system access, and basic security.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in Information Technology or a related field from a recognized university or institution. Relevant fields include Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks / Networking, Networking & Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.
Practical experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Experience supporting Windows desktop and Windows Server environments.
Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Experience providing technical support to end-users and resolving IT-related incidents.
Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge may be considered for a Junior IT Support & Network Technician role.
