Annotator (English) AI Trainer

About the Role
Mindrift connects specialists with project-based AI opportunities for leading technology companies. This role focuses on testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems. This is a part-time, remote, freelance opportunity, not permanent employment, and is paid per accepted task, with earnings up to the equivalent of $15/hr.
Role Context and Contribution
Annotation is critical for enhancing AI's understanding of the world. As a Freelance Annotator, you will be invited to participate in online projects, such as rating AI-generated content, evaluating factual accuracy, or comparing responses, when projects become available. This role allows contributors to influence how future AI models understand and communicate within various fields of expertise.
Key Responsibilities

Carefully review provided data, which may include text, images, or videos.
Label or classify content in accordance with specific project guidelines.
Identify and flag material that is factually incorrect, sensitive, inappropriate, or unclear.

Project Workflow and Time Commitment
The process involves applying, passing necessary qualifications, and then joining available projects. Tasks are completed and submitted by deadlines, adhering to specified acceptance criteria for payment. During active phases, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10-20 hours per week, based on project requirements. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload, applicable only while a project is active.
Compensation Details
Compensation is provided per accepted task. The effective rate is influenced by the qualification tier achieved and task completion efficiency, with potential earnings up to the equivalent of $15 per hour. A faster pace of work can increase the effective hourly rate, provided that quality standards are consistently maintained.
Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in any professional role.
Demonstrated logical thinking, fact-checking, and reasoning abilities.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to understand and follow complex instructions.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to ask clarifying questions when necessary.
Genuine interest in technology and artificial intelligence.
Strong written and spoken English (C1+ proficiency).
