About the Role
Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Cyber Security Architect/Engineer II to provide onsite and offsite cybersecurity services for industrial Process Control Networks. This full-time position is based in Saudi Arabia and supports customers across various sectors, including Oil and Gas, Hydrocarbon Processing, Power Generation, Pulp, Paper & Printing, Continuous Web Solutions, Petrochemicals, Life Sciences, and Metals, Minerals and Mining markets. The role requires 5-10 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary customer interface to ensure proposed solutions align with business needs.
Maintain technical competency with Honeywell Process Solutions security and networking product/systems portfolio, while developing expert knowledge in specific designated security/network disciplines.
Develop and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical/engineering support.
Respond to customer inquiries, questions, and issues by diagnosing problems and providing appropriate technical solutions in a timely manner.
Maintain knowledge of current industry security standards such as NIST, NCA, IEC-62443, and ISO27001.
Maintain relevant cybersecurity certifications.
Perform onsite and offsite consulting, troubleshooting, network designs, implementation, and assessments.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field such as Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation network systems.
5+ years of experience in industrial networking.
5+ years of experience leading security projects.
5+ years of experience performing audits/assessments.
Experience within Industrial Process Control.
Experience performing cybersecurity/network/system services at customer sites.
Experience in LAN/WAN architectures and the Purdue ICS model.
Experience designing and optimizing complex LAN environments.
Experience with different firewall vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
Experience with anti-virus systems, backup & restore, network management, and whitelisting.
Experience with current industry security standards (NIST, NCA, IEC-62443, ISO27001, etc.).
Required Skills and Certifications
Networking certifications (*, CCNA).
Cyber Security Risk Analysis skills.
Linux/Windows Security Basics knowledge.
Strong virtualization experience (*, VCP certification).
Familiarity with Industrial Site’s Safety Requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, and Terminal Server.
Process Control System Design/Implementation Knowledge.
Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification.
Cisco Certified Network/Design/Security Professional (at least one certification).
Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network/application/system integration issues.
Work Environment and Travel
This role is full-time and requires significant travel, estimated between 30% and 65%, to customer sites for service delivery.
