Bar Supervisor, Raffles The Red Sea

Job Summary

Raffles The Red Sea is seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to lead our beverage operations in Umluj Saudi this role you will oversee the daily operations of our bar ensuring exceptional service delivery staff excellence and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences in a luxury resort environment.

• Supervise and manage bar staff including scheduling training performance management and professional development to ensure a high-performing team
• Maintain strict inventory control monitor beverage stock levels and manage ordering to optimize costs while ensuring product availability
• Ensure compliance with all health safety and sanitation regulations as well as local Saudi Arabian hospitality standards
• Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining high service standards and addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Operate and manage point-of-sale (POS) systems and beverage management software to track sales inventory and staff performance
• Develop and implement beverage menus including non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails that align with resort standards and guest preferences
• Monitor and analyze beverage costs pricing strategies and profitability to meet financial targets
• Conduct regular staff training sessions on beverage knowledge service techniques and customer engagement
• Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and motivation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and consistent guest satisfaction

Qualifications :

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in a bar restaurant or hospitality setting
• Proven experience managing beverage operations in a luxury hotel or resort environment
• Strong knowledge of non-alcoholic beverages mocktails and beverage service standards
• Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Outstanding customer service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze beverage costs manage budgets and drive profitability
• Knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations in the hospitality industry
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as required
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian hospitality standards and cultural practices is preferred
• Certification in hospitality management or beverage service is a plus
